This impression doesn’t appear to have been part of the edition published by Cadart for La Societé des aquafortistes as evidenced by the lack of a Cadart address but with the Delatre address. The plate was acquired by Cadart after the artist’s passing about 1869. Whether Cadart acquired the plate from Delatre is not clear. However, the skillful, sensitive printing of the plate — where there is only aquatint — could indicate an earlier intermediate state between Delteil’s fourth and fifth states.
